Mevins Consulting is a freelance consulting company which began in 2010. Prior to the business’ start, it existed as Red Dog Technology Solutions, LLC. Providing many services to clients around the country, Mevins Consulting is considered a full-service website consultant. In addition to web services, Mevins Consulting provides project management services as well as other instructional design and educational trainings.
Matthew Evins (@evinsmj), the company’s founder and consultant, completed undergraduate and graduate studies from Miami University (Music Education and Instructional Design and Technology, respectively). Matthew has spent the last 8-10 years developing websites and training others how to use various forms of technology. Having spent time in Houston, Texas, Matthew provided support to faculty in the development of hybrid and distance learning courses and also provides social media support to academic and student services departments at the college. Matthew now works for Miami University as an Instructional Design and Technology Specialist, focusing on the integration of technology into college courses.

David Sheehan (@davidrsheehan), a Miami University graduate, staff member, and part-time grad school student, joined Mevins Consulting in 2011. Bringing 4 years of experience writing and editing copy, designing websites (with an eye for clean, user-friendly architecture), and a love for tinkering with technology, David focuses on making client sites shine. As an educator, a creative, and a tech enthusiast, David is interested in the intersection of learning, technology, and expression (both written and visual).
